Nissan Altima Blower Motor Resistor

Q. I have 1994 Nissan Altima. The A/C blower motor works on high speed only. It does not work on 1, 2 or 3 speed. The switch is okay. Someone told me I should check the resistor. Can you please tell me where is it located and how to test and replace it.

Nissan Altima Blower Motor Resistor

A. It is almost a 100% certainty that the blower motor resistor is bad. I have replaced millions of them. Well, maybe not millions but thousands. Okay, maybe not thousands, but a lot.

Here is a diagram of where it's located.
