Ford Explorer Blowing Smoke Q. Hello! I have a question about my 1991 Ford Explorer 4x4. Smoke or dust is coming out of the air vents INSIDE THE CAR!!! Mostly just the middle vent, but WHAT ARE SOME POSSIBLE PROBLEMS?? Please let me know, I appreicate any help you have. Thank you!

A. Right about this time of year I start getting this a lot. If it happens on cool early mornings with dew on the grass, it's normal. All it is, quite literally, is fog. It does disappear as the day warms up.

I had one older woman got so scared because she thought is was "poision gas".
