Dodge Caravan Low Reverse Band Q. Vincent, I can't find the location of the low-reverse band adjustment on a 1998 Dodge Caravan 3.0 liter transaxle. A. It wasn't easy to find a diagram, but here it is.

To adjust the low-reverse band, proceed as follows:

1. Loosen and back off lock nut approximately 5 turns.
2. Using an inch-pound torque wrench, tighten adjusting screw to 5 Nm (41 inch lbs.) true torque.
3. Back off adjusting screw 3½ turns.
4. Tighten lock nut to 14 Nm (10 ft. lbs.).
