Nissan Pathfinder Brake & Dash Lights
Q. I have a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder V-6. When I press the brake pedal the dash lights dim and the parking lights come on. I have not found a blown fuse or anything. Can you help me?

A. This is something that happens when a wrong bulb is installed for the brake lights. So the first thing to do is make sure the correct bulbs are installed.
If they are correct, then I would start looking for a short circuit somewhere. Possibly in the area of the brake pedal itself. I wish I could tell you where the short is, but this is something you need to track down with a wiring diagram and test light.
