Dodge Intrepid Pushing Oil

Q. Hi, I have a 2000 Dodge Intrepid, 2.7 liter DOHC, automatic transmission with 73,000 miles and EFI. Recently I have become aware of oil being forced out of the tiny breather hole in the tube that houses my dipstick. I have changed the oil regularly and there is no oil I can see in the air filter.

What are the possible causes of this? Is there too much pressure? A blockage? I can not seem to find what is wrong. Thanks for your assistance.

Sincerely,

A. I have only seen oil come up and out of the dipstick tube once in my whole 563 year life. And it was due to a combination of a blockage in the hose from the breather filter to the engine AND a clogged PCV valve. So that is what I would suggest checking in this case. And I'm assuming the oil is not overfilled.
