Questions and Answers

Toyota Tercel Clicking Noise

Q. My name is Cory and I own a 1995 Toyota Tercel. It is a 4-cylinder, power-steering, A/C, automatic transmission, almost 130,000 miles. I have two questions:

Toyota Tercel Clicking Noise

1) When turning my car makes a "clicking" sound, any ideas on what that might be?

2) My air conditioning is off an on, mostly off. I turn it on and I get absolutely no air, hot or cold, and other times I turn it on and it briefly works until eventually the air completely fades out. Any ideas on that?

I appreciate any input that you can give me.

Thanks for your time...

A. 1) If it's a loud clicking sound, then it is very likely a bad CV joint. Take a look under there and if the boots are ripped and there's grease all over the place, then they will need to be replaced.

2) This sounds like a bad blower motor. The brushes inside it are probably worn out.
