Daewoo Motor Oil Suggestion
Q. I have a Daewoo Matiz and live in a hot weather in the summer, 40°- 45°C and cold weather in the winter 0° -10°C. So the question is: do I have to change the motor oil from SAE 10W-30 in the winter to 15W-40 in the summer? Or it is better to stick with one viscosity?
A. Daewoo recommends a 5W30 in the winter and a 10W30 for the summer. But I don't see why you can not use a 10W30 year round as long as you don't have any problems starting in the winter.
