A. It's really hard to price out a transmission rebuild since it depends on what it will need. The only way to know for sure is to open it up and look inside. Generally a rebuild will run about $1500.00. The warranty depends on the shop doing the work. Generally you'll get a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty.

You can get a used transmission from a junkyard for about $300.00 to $500.00 but all you'll get is a 90 day warranty.
