Grand Prix ECM Location Q. I am looking for my computer on a 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix 2.8, automatic. I am told it is under the dash board on the right side but where and what does it look like? I had a 1982 S10 and found it's computer with no trouble. The trouble is the car won't start.

It started yesterday only once. It has 210,000 miles. I have had very little problems with it, only a head gasket replacement about 6 years ago.

A. The ECM is located under and to the rear of the Electrical Center on the right strut tower. It will take a bit of digging to get to it.
