Eagle Talon Won't Start And Run
Q. I hope that this goes to the right site and that you can help me out. We have a 1995 Eagle Talon, 2.0 liter engine, odometer says 50,000+ (bought used maybe 150,000+) The problem is that the car cranks and tries to fire once or twice but then doesn't. I have replaced the air filter, fuel filter, plugs and the fuel pump.
The pump is running and there is fuel returning to the tank. At the fuel rail there is fuel at the test port when the engine cranks. If I squirt a shot of either into the air intake the engine starts and runs with out a problem. I have been through the Haynes manual and cannot come up with the solution to the problem. I don't know where to go to get the darn thing working. HELP ME PLEASE!!

A. Sounds to me like there is a problem with the PCM or the power supply to the injectors. I think it's fairly safe to assume that all four injectors didn't go bad at the same time.
You can hook up a noid light to the injector harness and see if it flashes. If it doesn't, then you have a problem with the injector wiring.
Check for power at the black/red wire of each injector. If you don't have power, then it is most likely a bad Auto Shut Down (ASD) relay.
If you do have power, then you probably have a bad PCM.
