200SX No Start
Q. Four times over the last year the engine fails to start. Plugs are wet fouled, changing plugs was required to start engine. This time it didn't help. Spark appears to be weak when plug was held to block. Cap rotor wires are new. No codes are displayed. I was told a trade service magazine, section called Factory Fixes dealt with this trouble about a year ago. Any help would be gladly excepted in getting car started.
A. I checked through my back issues but couldn't find any mention of this in any of them. I do know that weak and bad coils are a common problem in this car. The fact that you are getting some spark indicates the rest of the system is working.
