Toyota Camry A/C Doesn't Get Cold
Q. 1994 Toyota Camry. The A/C doesn't get cold, we check the charge and it is good. We applied voltage to the clutch wire and the clutch engaged. with the air on high, It quickly became cold in the car. I think I have checked all of the fuses and relays. What am I missing?
Thank you...
A. I would unplug the two pin A/C Low Pressure Switch and jump the two terminals in the connector. If the A/C compressor clutch kicks on, you have a bad A/C Low Pressure Switch.
A/C Low Pressure SwitchIf it doesn't then there is a power supply problem with the system. I would try swapping the A/C relays with known good relays to eliminate them as a possibility.
