Chevrolet Camaro Radio Lights

Q. I have a 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28. It has a 5.7 liter 6 speed manual transmission and 96,000 miles on it. The problem I am having is the lights on the radio's buttons are going out. I have a GM shop manual for my car but it doesn't address this problem. The radio plays fine and the face looks the same as they put in current vehicles. It is really just an annoyance when its dark you can't see all the buttons.

Thanks for your help...

Chevrolet Camaro Radio Lights

A. The only thing you can check is the wire going to the radio from headlight circuit to make sure it's not losing power. If it's okay, the problem is inside the radio. Any GM dealer can send it out to a repair shop for repair or exchange unit.
