We've all been there -- there being the place where you can see the bolt, but can't get a wrench or a socket on it. Up until now you are left trying to get it with tiny turns on a wrench, or by stripping the bolt because you can't fully grab it with a socket. Will the Snap-on Swivel Socket save the day?
Real World Testing
In the tool market you find a lot of tools claiming to do a lot of things, but not all live up to the hype. The Snap-On Swivel Socket looked like it might, and the reputation of the company is one of the best in the business. With that being said we had high hopes for the Swivel Sockets. Shortly after buying them for the shop a need arose for such a tool. There was a bolt on the top of the carburetor that was very hard to get to. I tried a traditional socket and could only get about half way on, which is a recipe for stripping the bolt. When I tried an open end wrench I could not get it on at all. What to do? I went to the tool cabinet and grabbed my new Snap-on Swivel Sockets and tried out the 13mm. It worked great! I was able to seat onto the bolt fully and the ratchet did the rest. There is really no better feeling than buying a new tool and having it save the day. This set should be in everyone's toolbox.
