Tools For Auto Repair - Craftsman Stubby 12 pt. Combination Wrench Set

Working on a car is normally a routine affair. Having a small but decent tool set can get you through most projects but having a collection of specialty tools can be very handy too. The Craftsman Stubby 12 pt. Combination Wrench Set is a good set to have in your specialty tool collection. Many jobs require a tool that can either twist a certain way or fit into that small space. The Stubby Wrench Set is for those tight spots. A recent example we had in the shop where the stubby wrench came in handy was taking a carburetor off an early Porsche engine. The engines in these cars are very easy to take out so most times when doing any work on them you just drop the motor. But if you only want to take out one carb, the normal open end wrench is too long to fit into the space and you can't use a socket because there is not enough top clearance. The only solution is a stubby wrench. It is short enough to get into the small space and undo the four bolts.
