When you're building up your toolbox it's sometimes hard to decide what you'll need and when you will need it. Having a few small specialty tools can be a life safer. If you have ever had to remove and install little ring clips or cotter pins you invariably grab the wrong tool, like a small flat head screwdriver or needle-nosed pliers, which is just frustrating to try to use for small situations. The Craftsman Double Pointed Scriber kind of looks like something a dentist should be using, not an auto mechanic, but having a small and strong little tool can make grabbing and moving little clips and cotter pins fairly easy. This is a good small tool to have in the toolbox, and more affordable than buying all of the little circlip and pin removal tools one at a time.
