As with the Mercedes I filled the tank and noted the start mileage. I then drove it for three tankfuls and got a baseline 28.9 mpg. At the ½-full mark of the third tankful I took it to a State approved testing facility and had the emissions tested with a standard 4-gas emission analyzer.Test 2 Phase 2... Buick
Again with the tank full I installed the The OCW SmogBuster to the bottom of my fuel tank according to the instructions. I drove it for three tankfuls and got an mpg of 28.7. Again, at the ½-full mark of the third tankful I took it back to the same testing facility and had the emissions again tested with a standard 4-gas emission analyzer. Bottom line is this is another product that doesn't work. It is as expensive as it is useless. You will get better results by using the money to take your sweetheart on a getaway weekend by yourselves. There is no increase in milage or improvement in exhaust emissions and as for the smell of the exhaust, if it does "smell cleaner" to you, it is all perception, not fact. From the research I have done into this product and the company that markets it, it is my considered opinion that it is a Multi Level Marketing scheme to make money for a very few select people.
