No Forward In Overdrive Position And No Reverse

  1. Electrical component failure, connection, or wiring harness damage to:

    1. Electronic Pressure Control (EPC) solenoid
    2. RPM signal.
    3. Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS).
    4. Throttle Position (TP) sensor.
    5. Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

  2. Improper fluid level.
  3. Transmission filter plugged or damaged.
  4. Improper band/clutch pressure, line pressure low, or EPC pressure low.
  5. Valve body main control:

    1. Bolts improperly torqued.
    2. Gasket damaged or out of position.
    3. EPC stuck or leaking 0-ring.
    4. Separator plate damaged.
    5. Main control body valves or springs damaged or missing.
    6. Wrong component used in rebuild.

  6. Transmission pump leaking or damaged.
  7. Overdrive one way clutch damaged.
  8. Internal mechanical damage to shafts, bearings, splines, and/or clutches.
