Repair Shop Reviews
The long and short of it is that he did not put a rebuilt engine in my Camry. He replaced my engine with a junkyard engine that started burning oil after 3 months (needs a ring job that he offered to do for $1100). During one of my trips back to his shop he stole the receipt out of the glove box. He then claimed I had no warranty and that he never said I was getting a rebuilt engine.
I have a 92 Camry that I took to the dealer for engine problems. The dealer wanted to rebuild the engine at a cost of almost $3000. This was way too high so I went to All Pro Bumper to Bumper Service Center. Lenny, the owner, offered to put a rebuilt engine in my Camry for $2200. He offered a 12-month warranty and had been in business at the same location for several years so I decided to save the $800 and let him do the work.
