Defect Summary:
On certain sport utility vehicles with Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), the ABS control module software program may cause the rear brakes to lock up during certain braking conditions.Consequence Summary: This could result in a loss of vehicle control and a crash could occur without warning.Corrective Summary: Dealers will reprogram the abs control module. The recall is expected to begin on December 12, 2005. Owners should contact Daimler Chrysler at 1-800-853-1403. |
