BODY ROLL

Definition: The leaning or tipping of a vehicle's body to one side when turning sharply. This reduces traction and increases tire scuff due to undesirable alignment changes. Body roll is controlled primarily by a sway bar, but the stiffness of the springs and shocks also play a role.
