Replaced Head Gaskets, Now Overheats

Q. I have changed the thermostat and the head gaskets. It overheats. Prior to changing the head gaskets it was getting hot but it never boiled over. After the head gasket work it now boils over. What could the problem be? I purchased this car and it had that stop leak crap in the radiator. This was flushed out. Now I am going to have the radiator boiled out. Give me some suggestions please.

Thanks in advance,
Desperate

A. Year, make and model would be nice. Does the coolant fan work? Maybe there is some air trapped in the system. Do you have the belt on so the water pump is turning in the correct direction?
