Mercury Sable Power Window Problems Q. I have a 1997 Mercury Sable,V-6, automatic transmission, 92,000 miles with P/S and A/C. The driver's power window will not come up. All other windows are fine, up and down. I replaced the power window relay fuse under the hood and under the dash. I can hear a click when I push the button to move the window, but it does not come up. Are you able to help me? Thanks, Deke

A. There are three different power window systems used in that car. I can give you the diagnostic procedure but as for a wiring diagram, you will need to go to your local public library and get it from the reference section.

Motors Manuals has books with all the wiring diagrams and you can get a copy based on the power window system in your vehicle.
