Isuzu I-Mark Engine Swap

Q. Hallo, I have a problem with my car and nobody on my continent (Europe) can help me. So I decided to write you a letter, maybe you can help me. I have a 1988 Isuzu I-Mark turbo 1497cc 49 kW, nobody in Europe heard for that model and don't know to solve my problem, and it is: I want to change a engine of my car with a 1991 Isuzu Gemini motor 1.6 G-kat 84 kW.

Isuzu I-Mark Engine Swap

Now can I do that and what to do with computer? Is it good for a second engine or I need to change him too? If you can help me with this please write me to this mail or if you don't know please give me some address or mail or web address where I can find an answer for this.

Thank you in advance...

A. If both engines mount up to a KF100 automatic transaxle, then yes, the 1991 1.6 will replace the 1988 1.5. As for the computer, it will need to be changed. If you have the whole car for the 1.6, then you will need to take the whole engine harness and computer with it.
