Riviera Just Died
Q. Hello Vincent, I have an 1989 Buick Riviera, 3.8 liter, 124,000 miles, automatic transmission, fuel injected, all of the bells and whistles on the computer console with interactive screen. While driving, at about 50 mph, car just stopped running. Until it stopped, everything was running just fine.
Electrical was still fine, would even crank quite well, but won't restart. I changed the fuel filter, and fuel pump still operates, car still won't start. What should be my next step?
Thanks for your help!
A. You need air, fuel, and spark to light that beast up! I would be looking at the spark. Ignition module? Crank sensor?
