Plymouth Voyager Fuel Pump
Q. Oh Dear Wise and Wonderful Auto Repairman, I put in a new starter today, for the second time in under a year. The first cost me $280.00 for my mechanic to install. The one I bought today at the junkyard was $20.00 and cranks just as well! Unfortunately my car still will not start.
My husband talked to one of his friends who is a mechanic. This guy said it sounds like the fuel pump. Now, time for the BIG QUESTION, where is the fuel pump?! I’ve looked everywhere. My minivan didn’t come with a manual, but I doubt that would be much help. Can you please come to my rescue?

CynthiaA. Oh, you want the AUTO REPAIR guy. I thought you said OTTO REIGERMAN. Wait here Cynthia, I'll go get him for you.
He said he's busy, but he told me to tell you the fuel pump mounts inside the fuel tank, from the top of the tank. The fuel tank must be removed to access the fuel pump.
He also told me to tell you that if you spray some carburetor cleaner inside the intake manifold. If it starts and runs as long as the carburetor cleaner lasts, then the chances are good it's a bad fuel pump.
