S-10 Headers
Q. I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. I have a 2000 S-10 pickup with the 4.3 liter Vortec V-6. It's well out of warranty with 48,000 miles on it so I decided to have some fun with it. I want to put a set of headers on it but I found the only kind available right now are shorty headers. Will headers for a 1993 S-10 work on mine?
A. I kind of doubt that they will. There is a big difference in the exhaust manifolds and I don't think they will bolt up to your heads.
