Monte Carlo Taking On Water

Q. I have a 1983 chevy Monte Carlo 229 3.8 L

The problem I have is that every time it rains or I get the car washed I have a good amount of water coming in on the passenger side right underneath the glove box. I don't how its getting in. Do you think you know what the problem is and how I can get it fixed.

I appreciate any help you can give me,
Thanks

A. There are several places where water can get into a car. It can come in through a bad windshield seal, the heater inlet or through the firewall. The best way to find the leak would be to remove the lower dash cover and glove box. Then get under there with a flashlight and have someone hose down the car while you look for where the water is coming in. That's about the only way you're going to find it. Sorry I can't be more specific.
