Dodge Caravan Engine ID Number Q. Hi!!! I'm Matthew and I'm from Slovakia. Well, I had imported 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport to my country and I was to register it yesterday recently. I haven't succeeded though, as they asked me to show an engine's serial number on Caravan's engine. Of course, I haven't had any problems e.g. with VIN which is on the window and the chassis too.

But I'm not able to see and not even to find the engine's serial number. I'd like to ask for help. Where that serial number could be???? I will really appreciate your help.

A. The engine identification number is located on the rear of the cylinder block just below the cylinder head.
