Chevrolet Corsica Noises And Stalling

Q. I just recently had the TCC Solenoid disconnected due to it dying after stopping. I just installed an amp in my car, and now whenever I start the car it makes a weird noise, and sometimes dies right away in park. Other times, I drive for a while, but when I put it back in park it dies again. Any ideas what this could be?

Chevrolet Corsica Noises And Stalling

A. Let's determine where the noise is coming from first to rule out the possibility that it's causing your stalling problem. Then I would disconnect the amp to see if trouble goes away. It could be sending EMI (electro-magnetic interference) to the PCM.
