Nissan Back Up Lights

Q. I have a 1992 Nissan Pathfinder, V6, manual transmission, 114,000, Fuel Injection, ABS brakes (rear only) P/S and A/C.

The back-up lights have stopped working. I've checked the fuses, the bulbs and all the connections. I'm guessing it's the reverse or backup light switch located at the manual transmission (passenger side) that's kaput. Are there other things I should look at?

If it is the reverse or backup light switch, is it hard to change out?

Thanks.

A. Reid, you did it all. It is the back-up light switch on the transmission. No sweat replacing it, just unplug it, screw it out. Screw the new one in, plug it in and you're done. 10 minutes, 15 if you have your brother in law help you.
