Pontiac Grand Prix A/C & DRLs

Q. Vince, I have a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix. The problem I am having is my A/C only works on the highest setting. Whenever I switch my blower to anything less (except off), it turns my daytime running lights off. I've looked at a schematic diagram and I can't see how they are tied together. What do you think the problem is.

Thanks,
Michael

Pontiac Grand Prix A/C & DRLs

A. There could be a common ground for both systems that is not making a good connection and causing this. You need to focus on one problem at a time. Check the blower resistor to see if it's bad. It could be back feeding the DRL's as well.
