Souping Up A Ford Explorer Q. Hi, I would like to know what else I can do to get better performance out of my 1996 Ford Explorer with a 5.0 liter engine. I have put an exhaust on there, high performance spark plugs and, most recently, a MAC air inductor. What else would you recommend? David

A. I would recommend a speed shop for this question. I'm just an old line mechanic who just fixes them. I leave it to others to make them go fast.
