Dodge Van Hard Start And Stalls Q. I have a 1999 full size Dodge Van. At first it was hard to start. Acting like it was flooding out. I took it to have a tune up done. Drove it to Las Vegas with no problems. I live in St. Louis. Parked overnight then went out to start in the morning. It was rough starting in the morning.

That afternoon it started right up, I drove about a half a mile and it lost almost all power and try to die. I barely limped home. It has not started since. I have changed the MAP Sensor, with no luck. I don't know if this is important or not but the headlights went out while driving once and another time would not come on immediately, the parking lights did though. The headlights appear to be working now. Any help would be very much appreciated.

A. From the symptoms you describe it sounds like a fuel delivery problem. Most likely a fuel pump going bad. Wish I had more information to work with, might be a TSB on it.
