Chevy Monte Carlo TPI Replacement

Q. Good evening, I have a Chevy Monte Carlo that I recently put a TPI unit on. I bought a complete new harness with ECM and chip to match my engine. It also came with new sensors except the TPS. I installed everything and a new pump that delivers 50 psi and all necessary fuel lines to run it.

I tried to start it and it tries to start but just doesn't. It has new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. There is plenty of fuel pressure. If I spray fuel in the throttle body it fires right now. The fuel pressure regulator is the factory one and the injectors are as well. The TPI is a 1990 and set up for speed density. What could it be, regulator or injectors? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A. Do the injectors spray when you crank it over? Has the distributor module been changed or is it the same as what the new ECM uses? If no injector pulse, make sure the Check Engine Light comes on with key on. Make sure the ECM is powered up upon cranking. The engine needs some sort of crank signal to allow injectors to pulse.
