Mazda Millenia Belt Replacement II
Q. Hi, I asked you about a 1999 Mazda Millennia drivebelt replacement. I feel like an idiot as I now realize I gave you the wrong engine size. Its a 2.5 liter V-6, not 2.3 V-6. Big difference as the 2.3 V-6 is the S model with much wider belts. Could you repeat the information for a 2.5 V-6?
In addition, when I look at the engine as its side mounted there doesn't seem much space between the side of the compartment and the engine. Is this a job that needs to be done from underneath?
Thanks in advance,
Andrew
Burke, AVA. No worries Andrew, we all make mistakes. The erasers on my pencils are pretty well worn down.
Anyway, the 2.5 liter V-6 is somewhat easier than the 2.3 liter V-6. Here's how to do it. One from the top and one from the bottom.
