Chrysler Cirrus Cruise Control In-op

Q. I recently purchased a 1995 Chrysler Cirrus with 52,000 miles for $4200.00. Is that too much? The reason I'm writing is that the cruise control is not working. The light comes on in the dash, but it doesn't operate. Where would the fuse for it be? I didn't see one in the fuse panel. Is it labeled something else? If it's not a fuse, what do you think? I purchased a six month warranty. Is that covered?

Thank you,
John

A. Power for the cruise control comes from fuse #25 and is fed to the cruise control switch through pin 41 of the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). If the fuse is good, I would suspect either a bad clock spring in the steering wheel or a bad cruise control switch.
