Question About Oil

Q. Hello I have a question for you, I have a 2002 Ford F-150 with a 5.4 liter motor in it, the owners manual say's to use 5-20 motor oil in it, but I want to use synthetic oil in it and I can not find it in 5-20. Would it hurt my motor if I used 5-30? Or would it void out my warranty.

Thanks,
Chuck

A. Personally, if it were my truck, I would use the 5W-30 and the only person in the world who would know I have 5W-30 in there would be me.

If you want to use a synthetic 5W-20, Amsoil has it available. Write my friend Ric O'Donnell and he'll be happy to hook you up.
