Chevy Blazer A/C Orifice Tube Q. Dear Vincent, I have recently installed a new compressor and accumulator for my A/C system on my 1998 Chevy Blazer, 4.3 liter V-6 VIN "W" and automatic transmission. I have not had the system recharged yet, as I need to change the orifice tube for a new one. The question is, where is this part located on this model? Thanks for your help. Paul

A. The expansion (orifice) tube is located in the evaporator inlet pipe.
