Subaru Legacy Loses Reverse

Q. I have a 1993 Subaru Legacy, automatic transmission, 103,000 miles. When I first start it up it and put it in reverse it works fine. But after the car warms up and I put it into reverse. It will not move. Can you help me?

Thanks...

A. I wish I had better news for you but it sounds like the transmission is just worn out. You can try a fluid and filter change and hope for the best, but don't bet the ranch on it.
