Ford Bronco Inertia Switch Location Q. I have a 1987 Ford Bronco II and my son ran it out of gas. I have filled it up with gas and it will not start. I was told to check the inertia switch but I cannot locate it. I would like to know where is the inertia switch located in my 1987 Ford Bronco. Thank you for your time, Dave

A. The inertia switch is located below the instrument panel, to the right of the transmission hump.
