Buick "Carriage" Lights - Again

Q. Greeting. I have a 1983 Buick Park Avenue. I was trying today to replace the coachman bulb between four doors. I started on the inside taking the door panel off but end up couldn't take the in part that the bulb go in to on the inside.

Is it on the outside where I take off the covering? It appeared tight and no where to open the amber covering the coachman light. What do I do! Can you help me?

Thank you,
Rudolph

A. You can't just change the bulb in that light. GM thought that would be too easy so when the bulbs do burn out, you have to replace the whole panel/light assembly.
