Ford Starters Q. Hi there, I just have a quick question, I recently owned a 1995 Ford Escort, and I had to replace the starter in it twice. I heard on CNN last night (0ct. 25, 2001) that Ford recently lost a law suit involving their faulty starters.

That immediately caught my attention because of my problems. I didn't hear the whole news story, as to where I could sign my name and show proof of my repairs. My question to you is," where do you think I should start to find out where I should let them know about my "Starter"? I've looked on Ford's site and I see no mention of it and I understand that they probably wouldn't want to write that on there site *smile*.

Do you have any suggestions? Thank you so much for your time, I really enjoy your site and I find it extremely helpful.

A. I was unable to find any reference to this so I don't know if I can help you. The best thing to do is to call Ford Customer Service and talk to them. They would best be able to give you any information for possible reimbursement.
