Pontiac Turn Signal Light

Q. I know this sounds dumb, but I am trying to replace the bulb in my 1995 Pontiac Grand AM. It is the driver's side turn signal bulb. I can just touch the wire leading to the bulb, but I can't access the area enough to turn the socket out. Am I missing something? It almost looks like I have to take the whole front off the car to replace one stupid bulb.

Pontiac Turn Signal Light

A. You may need to remove the whole headlight assembly to get to this bulb. It should be fairly easy though. There is a couple of screws that hold the headlamp capsule in place. Once it's out, you should be able to get to all the bulbs.
