Geo Prizm Brake Fluid
Q. I have a 1994 Geo Prizm, LSI, 1.8 liter, 4 cylinder automatic. Ever since I purchased this car in 1996 new, it seemed to be leaking brake fluid, or at least losing it. Every 3-4 weeks or so, the brake light comes on and I add new fluid and go on my merry way until it comes on again.
I've taken it to the dealer several times, been to other shops numerous times, but no one is able to locate the problem. Any suggestions??

A. Well, the only place I can think of that you could lose brake fluid without it being seen is the back of the master cylinder. I would unbolt the brake master cylinder from the brake booster and I'll bet you two jelly donuts that is where the leak is.
