Mercury Marquis Window Regulator Q. I have a 1991 Mercury Grand Marquis. The window lift motor on the passenger side quit working. When I took it out the gears and the motor work fine. There is a plastic part inside the gear housing that must work like a clutch or something that has disintegrated. Can I get just this piece and put it back together or just what?? If so where can I get this piece? Please help. Thank you, Ron

A. This piece should be included in a gear kit available as a special order item at most auto parts stores, I found one doing a quick search at Autozone for $25.99. However, I usually change the entire assembly to prevent or prolong further heartache down the road.
