Squeaky Nissan Primera

Q. I come from England and have just bought a 1993 Nissan Primera, it seems to be a very good car except for a squeak from drivers side front wheel. If I press up and down on bonnet I can hear it, also when driving. Hopefully just needs some lubricating? Any help appreciated.

Squeaky Nissan Primera

A. It's most likely dry lower control arm bushings. I suggest getting a can of spray rust penatrent and drown all the bushings with it while moving the car up and down. It make take a few days to get all the way in.

If it doesn't go away, say in a fortnight, then you can either replace them or just live with the mouse.
