Any Known Chevy Cavalier Problems? Q. I'm interested in buying a 2000 Chevy Cavalier Z24 with a 2.4 liter engine; automatic transmission. I've got a 1992 with a 2.2 liter and 185,000 miles. This has been the most trouble free car I've ever owned. I thought I've heard of problems with the 2.4 liter. Are you aware of any common problems? Thanks, Chris

A. Aside from water pumps leaking, this engine is as fairly trouble free as your old one.
