Q. 1993 Dodge Dakota 318 engine. No hot from relay to coil, how do you check a relay?

Dodge Dakota Ignition Coil Relay

A. As you can see in the diagram, power for the coil, dark green/orange wire, comes from pin 57 of the PCM. The coil ground side goes to pin 19, gray wire, where the computer completes the circuit.

So, if you are not getting power to the coil, there is an open circuit in the dark green/orange wire or the PCM itself is bad.
