Chevy Cavalier Runs Rough Q. Hello Vincent, we have a 1994 Chevy Cavalier 2.3 liter 4 cylinder with ABS and 5-speed transmission. My question for you is; we have recently had some repairs to our car and, by the way there are 150,000 kilometers on the car, when you drive the car and push the gas pedal the car seems to chug and hesitate at low speed and on the rare occasion it will stall, starts with no problems.

As well as the engine light will occasionally come on, but when you turn the car off the light comes off. On the rare occasion the ABS light comes as well. We have had the brakes done recently as well as a water pump and a solenoid replaced. Any feedback would be appreciated.

A. If the check engine light came on, the whole key is to have it scanned to see what codes are stored. This will eliminate a lot of guess work.
